Raffaele

Maiori in 1837. The cultivation of lemons was the main economic activity of
the place and he intensified the production, in order to became the most
important exporter in Italy. His residence, finished in the
first half of the XIX century, has a splendid hall and nine rooms
with frescoes realised by the famous painting school of Costaioli:
the “Camera delle Muse” (Muses Room) is characterised by wonderful women
angel and the “Camera Turca” (Turkish Room) by dancing odalisques and Arab
themes. The furniture, dated back to the first years of the
XX century, was directly commissioned from Raffaele Conforti to Mr.
Siano, the famous cabinet-maker from Vietri sul Mare. This charming
residence has been renovated and equipped with all the modern comforts, such
as a hydro-massage tub, framed by the splendid frescoes of
the Filomena Reale Suite. Quite, elegance and relax are waiting for you
